Things Your Hospital Doesn’t Tell you – Insulin Pumps can be Hacked to OD Patients
A concerning story emerged today out of Johnson & Johnson. Apparently one of their insulin pumps is vulnerable to Cyber Attack and could even overdose patients. If you have one of these devices, J & J recommends you set a limit on the maximum insulin dosage and discontinue use of the wireless remote control. What other types of medical devices should we be concerned that hackers might exploit?
