Poll: 97% of Consumers “Unsettled” by Data Breaches

This poll likely falls in the category of things that don’t really need to be polled because they are so obvious.  A recent study suggested that when a company experiences a data breach, 97% of the customers no longer trust the company for at least several months.   I would guess that the study also had a +/- 3% error, which would likely put the poll at 100%.

More than ever before, businesses and organizations need strong Cyber Security Plans, Practices, and Personnel (the 3 P’s) in order to risk loosing revenue due to a data breach.
